Appeal following attempted murder, Priesthill

Officers are appealing for information following an attempted murder in the Preisthill area.
The incident happened around 1.55pm on Thursday, 18 June on Hartstone Road following a disturbance in the area, which, resulted in a 28-year-old man suffering serious injury after being struck at speed by a grey estate type vehicle.
The victim was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment where he remains in a stable condition.
Detective Sergeant Steven Slater of Govan CID said: “This was reckless and dangerous behaviour which will not be tolerated in our community. Enquiries are ongoing and we are working to establish the circumstances leading up to this incident.
“There would have been a number of people in the area around the time and we are keen to talk to anyone who may have seen anything. We are also keen to chat to anyone that may have dashcam footage of the incident.”
