Appeal after robbery in Irvine

Police in Ayrshire are appealing for information after a woman was robbed in Irvine.
The incident happened around 2.30pm on Friday, 5 June on Towerlands Farm Road, near to the Towerlands Community Centre.
The 59-year-old victim was approached from behind by an unidentified man and following a struggle he grabbed her purse, containing a three figure sum of cash.
He then ran off in the in the direction of the Towerlands Farm Road.
The man is described as being white, in his mid-20s to mid-30s and clean shaven. He was wearing a grey baseball cap, a white/tan bomber style jacket, blue jeans or jogging bottoms and white trainers.
Detective Sergeant Stephen McCulloch of Ayrshire CID said:
"The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene but did not need further medical attention.
"However, she has been left badly shaken by this incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing locally and I would urge anyone who may have information to come forward as soon as possible.
