Man arrested in connection with Irvine robbery

With reference to our previous release regarding a robbery at Boots Chemist, High Street, Irvine on Tuesday, 21 July, please note:

A 38 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this robbery.  He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, 23 July. 

A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
