Appeal for witnesses following serious road crash in Bathgate

Police in West Lothian are appealing for information following a serious road crash in Bathgate.
The incident happened around 4.30pm on Monday, 6 July, 2020 on the A7066 at the junction with the B792, involving three cars and two motorcycles.
As a result of the collision, three people were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. The other injured parties were treated at the scene by ambulance for minor injuries.
The road was closed for around eight hours to allow a full scene investigation to take place.
Inspector Andy Gibb, of Lothians Road Policing, said: “This was a serious collision involving a number of vehicles and we are looking for anybody who was driving on the road or witnessed the incident to contact police.
“One woman has sustained life threatening injuries and I would urge anyone who has any information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.
"In particular, if there were any vehicles in the area at the time that may have dashcam footage that could help officers, I would ask that you get in touch.”
