Appeal following assault and robbery in Lanark

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following an assault and robbery in Lanark.
The incident happened around 9.50pm on Friday, 10 July, 2020, when a group of men forced entry into a property on Smyllum Road, Lanark, and assaulted a 44-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman within before stealing a number of items from the property.
Detective Constable Murray McMillan, of Wishaw CID, said:
“This was a frightening experience for the victims and our enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.
“The suspects were wearing dark clothing with the hoods up and masks.
