Information appeal after housebreaking in Inverness

Police in Inverness are appealing for information after a quantity of jewellery was stolen in a housebreaking.
The incident happened between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Friday, 3 January, 2020 within a house on Annfield Road.
The total cost of the jewellery isn't known however an emerald ring, a Topaz ring and a brown pearl necklace were amongst the seven items stolen.
Detective Constable Joanna MacLeod, of Inverness CID, said: "The 83-year-old victim is understandably shaken and upset and we're appealing to the public for any information they might have about this incident.
"A lot of the items were still in their original box so if anyone has any information about jewellery matching this description being sold, or if anyone noticed anything suspicious around the time of the break-in, please contact us."
