Witness appeal after fatal road crash Stirling

Police in Forth Valley are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in the Stirling area.

The incident happened on the A811, near to Arnprior village, around 11.15am on Tuesday, 25 February, 2020. It involved a gas tanker and a silver VW Golf.

Emergency services attended and the 39-year-old female driver of the VW Golf was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed. The driver of the tanker wasn't seriously injured.

Sergeant David Ross, of Forth Valley Road Policing, said: "We're appealing to anyone who witnessed this or has any dash-cam footage to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 1088 of 25 February."
