Man named as Fife witness appeal continues

A man who died following a fatal road traffic collision on St Margaret Street in Dunfermline can now be named as Steven Kennedy.
The incident happened around 9.50pm on Wednesday, 19 February, 2020, when a white Mercedes Benz A-Class on St Margaret Street collided with a 33-year-old man and stopped. Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Steven's family has released the following statement saying he was "a beloved fiancé to Katie and a devoted dad to his 3 children."
The family ask in this difficult time that their privacy be respected.
Police are still appealing for witnesses that may have been in the area.
Sergeant Alastair Purvis, of Glenrothes road policing unit, said: "We are still appealing for witnesses and specifically a man on a bicycle within the area of St Margaret Street at the time of the incident and two men that Steven may have been with at the Old Inn pub."
