Second man charged in connection with wilful fireraising in Kincaid Court, Greenock

Officers have arrested and charged a second man, a 22-year-old, with attempted murder in connection with a wilful fireraising in Greenock.

The incident happened in Kincaid Court on Monday, 28 September, when a ground floor flat was set alight.

Detective Superintendent Gerry McBride of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Division said: “This is the second arrest and charge in connection with the incident at Kincaid Court in September.

“Enquiries remain ongoing and I would continue to urge anyone with information to contact police.”
