Man arrested following Clydebank death
Police Scotland can confirm that a 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 25-year-old Billy McGuire in Clydebank.
Emergencies services were called to an address on Perth Crescent around 12.05am on Monday, 21 December 2020 where two men were found seriously injured.
Both men were taken to hospital where 25-year-old Billy McGuire was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan McAlpine of the Major Investigation Teams said: “Our enquiries continue and I want to thank the community for their assistance so far.
"We continue to support Billy's family and urge anyone who has information which can help, and has not yet been in touch, to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
The man is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Saturday, 2 January, 2020.
