Appeal for information after the front door of a house was set alight in Laighstonehall Road, Hamilton

Officers are carrying out enquiries after the front door of a house was deliberate set on fire in Hamilton.

The incident happened at 4am on Friday, 4 December at property on Laighstonehall Road.

Detective Constable Chelsea Stevens of Cambuslang Police Office said :

“The occupants were in their home at the time of the fire, but thankfully no-one was injured.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has information that will assist this investigation to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 0313 of 4 December  Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
