Three men charged in connection with serious assault in Coatbridge

Police Scotland can confirm that three men, aged 19, 20 and 21, have been charged in connection with a serious assault in Coatbridge on Saturday, 18 July, 2020.

The incident happened around 11.15pm outside a bar on Main Street near to Locks Street. A 20-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries and received treatment at hospital. A second 20-year-old man was not seriously injured.

The men are due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court at a later date and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
