Man arrested following report of serious sexual assault, Paisley

Police Scotland can confirm that a 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Paisley.

The incident happened off Brediland Road in the Foxbar area during the evening of Wednesday, 26 August.

Detective Inspector Colin MacRitchie of Paisley CID said: "We would like to thank all the members of the public who have assisted with our enquiries so far."
