Arrest in connection with serious assault in North Shore Road, Troon

Police Scotland can confirm that a 51-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Troon.

The incident happened around 8.35pm on Saturday, 8 August, 2020 when officers were called to a property in North Shore Road.

A 49-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man were found with serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

The man is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Thursday, 13 August, 2020.
