Appeal for information following serious assault on Dunlop Street, Renfrew
Police in Renfrew are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted within a flat in Dunlop Street, Renfrew.
The 21 year-old man was assaulted around 6.10am on Saturday, 1 August, 2020 and located in Hairst Street, Renfrew by police a short while later.
He was treated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries to his body and hand.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or saw the victim in the area to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Karen Boyd of Paisley Mill Street said: “We don’t have descriptions of the suspect or suspects in this case, however, we are appealing for anyone who may have seen the injured man or anything suspicious in the area around that time to get in touch as any information could prove useful.”
