Appeal for information following robbery in Gourlays Wynd, Duns
Police in Galashiels are continuing enquiries and appealing for information after a man was robbed in Duns on Saturday, 1 August, 2020.
Around 9.30 pm on Saturday, 1 August, 2020, the 26-year-old-man was walking in Gourlays Wynd, Duns when he was punched in the face by a man who then ran off with a small amount of cash and his bank card.
He did not require any medical treatment.
The suspect made off in the direction of Gourlays Court, Duns. He is described as a white male, wearing a brown coloured hooded top and dark trousers.
Detective Constable Bruce Dodds at Galashiels CID said:
“I’d like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone who recognises the description of the suspect.
“I believe that the suspect was in the company of another man at this time and I urge him to do the decent thing and come forward and speak to police.”
