Man who died in Kilmarnock identified

Police in Ayrshire have established the identity of a man who died in Kilmarnock on Thursday, 16 April.
He has been identified as a 49 year-old from the Kilmarnock area.
His death is being treated as unexplained pending the outcome of a post mortem examination. However, there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
The man was found on Western Road around 4.05pm on Thursday and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Detective Sergeant Gary White, of Kilmarnock CID, said: "Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time for them.
“I would also like to thank everyone who assisted with our enquiries to establish his identity.”
