Man charged after West Lothian vehicle thefts

Police in West Lothian can confirm that a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of vehicle crimes in the area in recent months.
Extensive enquiries have been ongoing into the theft of a six Ford Transit vans between 7 January 2020 and 24 March, 2020 as well as a number of associated vehicle crimes.
The man is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Friday, 24 April).
Detective Constable Robert Gilmour said: "We know the impact that crimes such as these have on the livlihoods of individuals, their families and businesses.
"Extensive enquiries have been carried out by a dedicated team of officers to investigate these incidents.
"I would urge anyone who has any concerns about vehicle crime or suspicious activity in West Lothian to call 101 as soon as possible to allow us to investigate."
