Information appeal, serious road crash, Tain

Police in the Highlands and Islands are appealing for information following a serious road crash near Tain.

The incident happened around 11.45pm on Saturday, 11 April, 2020 when a red Volkswagen Golf was involved in a one vehicle collision on Scotsburn Road, around one mile from Tain near to the Quebec Bridge. A 43-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Sergeant Ewan Calder, of the road policing unit based at Fort William, said: "We're appealing to anyone who might have seen a red Volkswagen Golf with the registration YE02 HDK shortly before the incident or has any information about this to contact us."

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 4985 of 11 April 2020.
