Robert Watson
Officers are continuing their efforts in searching for 51-year-old Robert Watson, who's been missing from Arbroath, since Tuesday, 2 November, 2021.
Extensive enquiries have been ongoing and officers have established Robert’s phone was found in the King’s Drive area, after member of the public found the phone and handed it in to Arbroath Police Station.
It has also been established that Robert was seen in the King's Drive area at around 10.30pm, Tuesday, 2 November, 2021.
Specialist search officers have been conducting searches in and around that area.
Robert is described as 5ft 8ins, and has long brown hair and blue/green eyes. When last seen he was wearing a red and blue ski-style jacket and blue jeans.
Inspector David Gibson said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their response to our appeals and would ask any persons who may have been in the area of Kings Drive around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 2 November, 2021, and may have seen Robert to please come forward. I would also extend this appeal to anyone who may have been driving in the area and who may have dash cam footage to also come forward.
“Our efforts will be focused on the location where Robert was last seen and where his mobile phone was found. If anyone has any information regarding Robert, please pass it on, it could prove significant in our enquiries.”
Anyone who has seen Robert or who has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1002 of 3 November, 2021.
