Cycling World Championships 2023
The Cycling World Championships brings together 13 different cycling championships into one super event.
Scotland will host the first ever Cycling World Championships from Thursday 3 August until Sunday 13 August 2023.
Previously, the championships were held individually in different locations across the world over different months. This summer brings the championships into one country for what will be the single biggest cycling event in history. There will be multiple disciplines including road races, time trials, BMX and track cycling held over 11 days.
Over 8,000 elite and amateur cyclists will participate from more than 120 countries. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body of cycling.
