Assistant Chief Constable - Local Policing East

Assistant Chief Constable Tim Mairs is the executive lead for Local Policing East.  ACC Mairs portfolio consists of the following business area:

ACC Mairs joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland in 2002 and held roles in local policing, headquarters and within the Crime Operations Department.

Latterly, he was a Temporary Assistant Chief Constable with PSNI, with responsibility for the Operational Support Department.

ACC Mairs joined Police Scotland in July 2020 as Assistant Chief Constable - Local Policing East, in which he is also force executive liaison for the Scottish Police Memorial Trust.
