We are investing in digital technology to help keep people safe in Scotland and beyond.
Our new five-year Digital Strategy outlines how we will use this technology to safeguard people from the threats of today and those of tomorrow.
There are five strategic themes:
- Tackling crime through our cyber and intelligence led policing capability
- Modernising and improving access to our services
- Enhancing our colleagues’ experience by providing the right digital tools
- Enabling partnership working and secure digital collaboration
- Utilising digital technologies and data to improve the Criminal Justice System
Police Scotland is also committed to engaging and consulting with our communities when introducing new technologies to support the delivery of our services in Scotland. We will ensure our use of technology is ethical and aligned with our values of fairness, integrity, respect and our commitment to upholding human rights.
